Associate Director, Youth Programs
Position Summary
The Associate Director is responsible for working in collaboration with the Multi-Site Program Director to ensure the overall smooth and effective functioning of all school and center-based programs.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Multi-Site Program Director to provide compliance leadership and direction to all school and centerbased sites
- Work in collaboration with Multi-Site Program Director to ensure contractual requirements are adhered to and outcomes achieved
- Lead programmatic audits and submit reports that recommend corrective actions, structural changes and/or trainings to address any compliance issues
- Upkeep internal control procedures for each program site
- Monitor programs to optimize operation of daily program activities and operations
- Provide support to Site Program Directors around administrative, personnel, and budgetary tasks. This includes workscope development, hiring, retention, budgetary spending, enrollment, reporting and data management.
- Work with Multi-Site Program Director to ensure all systems are organized
- Manage program site in the absence of the Program Director.
- Fulfill other duties as assigned by supervisor that are related to program operations and agency initiatives
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of experience working in the field of youth education and/or youth afterschool programs
- At least 2 years demonstrated successful experience supervising afterschool programs and managing teams
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Demonstrated work experience in building relationships to advance program goals and objectives in a youth development setting
- Excellent administrative and organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with DOE schoolbased staff and key stakeholders
- Knowledge of and adherence to Department of Health, Department of Education, NYS Office and Children and Families, and/or NYC Department of Youth and Community Development guidelines and policies and their impact on RBs programs
Pay:
$63, $65,000.00 per year

- 8 hour shift
Ability to Relocate:
- Brooklyn, NY 11226: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
