Fabrication Shop Manager
The Page Fabrication studio plays a crucial role in the work done across our design teams.

They allow our designers to bridge the gap between the digital design world and physical construction, thereby bringing ideas to life.

The Fabrication Studio is housed in Houston at the East End Maker Hub, a manufacturing center and home to a community of fabricators, manufacturers, crafters and innovators.

Page's 5,000 SF studio is hub of a distributed network of maker spaces in our offices. This arrangement combines the benefits of local resources with the support of a more extensive, centralized facility.

Our Fabrication Studio is not just a space, but an ecosystem where ideas take shape and possibilities become realities.

Here's an overview of what Fabrication offers:
- **Innovation and Research**: Our Fabrication Studio is a treasure trove of exploration. We believe that groundbreaking ideas are born from curiosity, and our lab serves as a space for our architects and designers to tinker, experiment, and breathe life into new materials, building techniques, and technologies.
-
Cutting-Edge Tools and Equipment: Our Fabrication Studio has access to state-of-the-art tools, including 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, and an array of specialized equipment. This technology empowers our team to fabricate with precision.
-
Prototyping and Material Testing: Our studio facilitates the creation of physical models and prototypes, enabling us to meticulously assess designs, experiment with materials, and refine concepts until they meet our exacting standards.
-
Collaborative: Our Studio is designed to foster collaboration. It is where architects, engineers, designers, and researchers share insights, cross-pollinate ideas, and work in concert to craft designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functionally impeccable.
-
Beacon of Sustainability: As stewards of the environment, sustainability is etched into the very fabric of our ethos. Our Fabrication Studio is at the forefront of this mission, with a focus on eco-friendly materials, energy-efficient tools, and practices that minimize our ecological footprint.
-
Community Engagement: Our lab is not just a resource for us but a bridge to the community. It serves as a venue for workshops, demonstrations, and collaborative endeavors, connecting us with educational institutions, local organizations, and the very society for which we design.

At Page, fabrication is central to what we do. It's where our designs become real, tangible objects. It challenges us to "think what's possible" and push past traditional limits. Fabrication is practical and essential - it's how we make sure our ideas work in the real world. By blending design with hands-on making, we create functional, sustainable, and innovative structures.
