Position Summary

Summary:
The Performance Improvement Assistant provides administrative and secretarial support for the Quality Management & Regulatory Affairs department.


Qualifications

Responsibilities:

Education Required

  • Must complete inhouse orientation program
  • Bachelor's Degree required.

Experience And Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Speaks, reads and writes English
  • Experience as secretary preferred.
  • Minimum 35 years previous administrative support/ executive level secretarial experience. Hospital experience, business training or equivalent preferred
  • Comprehension and ability to interpret medical terminology required.
  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment while maintaining accuracy.
  • Able to work in an organized and professional setting.
  • Requires excellent oral/written communications skills
  • Good judgement, problem solving skills and the ability to work with mínimal supervision

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
  • 70% sitting and 30% standing/walking.
  • Handle multiple priorities under stress.
  • Repetitive motion with substantial movement of the wrists, hands and/ or fingers.
  • May require prolonged periods at computer terminal.
