Since January 1, 2024, Pro Senectute Switzerland has been providing financial assistance to widows, widowers, and orphans (WIWA) in need and managing the incoming requests for financial help from them.

These contributions supplement the benefits provided by the federal and cantonal governments and help to secure the minimum standard of living.

Your main responsibilities:

Independently processing and reviewing requests for financial assistance for WIWA.

This includes the following tasks:

Calculating and determining individual entitlements and reimbursements for financial assistance for WIWA
Conducting investigations into subsidiary claims
Organizing timely payments
Providing information in simple language about benefits; if necessary, triaging inquiries to interdisciplinary specialist agencies
Collaborating in the development of processes and the digitization of financial emergency aid.
