Starting from September 1, 2023, the Municipality of Englewood is offering two positions for a
Federal Volunteer Service in the field of schools (m/f/d).

The placement locations are the
Walbach School Center or the
GGS Engelskirchen.

Through working with children and teenagers in school and at extracurricular learning locations, the volunteer will gain insights into the field of educational work and the job of "school".

The tasks include, among others:

Assisting with one of the supervision measures (afterschool care or lunchtime supervision) as a contact person for students
Organizing and lending play equipment
Assisting with supervision
Helping with lunchtime supervision in afterschool care
Homework assistance
Playing with children
Assisting in the library
Supervising during breaks
Accompanying school trips to extracurricular learning locations and assisting with preparation
Assisting in administrative tasks
Providing guidance to students

The following qualities are required for the above-mentioned tasks:
