Job Title:
Claims Supervisor


Location:
Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid position)


Duration: 6 Months


Description:


  • As a Claims Team Lead specializing in Workers' Compensation, your primary responsibility will be supervising multiple teams of examiners and technical staff. You'll oversee colleagues' workloads, provide training, and offer technical direction on claims adjudication. Additionally, you'll maintain diaries on claims, especially complex or highexposure ones.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Supervise multiple teams of examiners and technical staff
  • Identify trends, problems, and recommended actions
  • Provide technical guidance on claims adjudication
  • Perform quality reviews on claims in compliance with audit requirements
  • Act as the second level of appeal for client and claimant issues

Supervisory Responsibilities:


  • Administer company personnel policies and staffing standards
  • Conduct colleague performance discussions and development plans
  • Provide support, guidance, and motivation to maximize performance
  • Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant licenses and certifications required

Experience: Six years of claims experience, including two years of claims supervisor experience


Skills & Knowledge:


  • Thorough knowledge of claims management processes, excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, PC literacy

Pay:
$ $45.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Ability to Relocate:
