As a dispatcher in traffic control, you will be responsible for coordinating train traffic. From this position, you have the opportunity to further qualify internally, for example as a shift leader or in a central control center.
We are currently looking for a dispatcher in traffic control (m/f/d) for DB Fernverkehr AG at our location in Munich.
Your tasks:
  • You are responsible for monitoring and controlling train traffic by taking measures to ensure our passengers reach their destination as smoothly as possible
  • In case of deviations from regular operations, you inform our passengers in a timely manner
  • You maintain close contact with colleagues on the train and schedule their further deployment in case of deviations in train traffic
  • You are also responsible for communicating alternative connections to train personnel
  • Your close collaboration with other control centers determines your workday
Your profile:
  • You have successfully completed a degree in business administration with a focus on logistics or railway operations, or alternatively a completed vocational training, e.g. as a railway master, industrial clerk, or freight forwarder
  • Ideally, you have several years
