Job Summary:


The Associate Product Manager - Lead Consultant is responsible for the product planning and execution all through the lifecycle of the product within the Billing and Payment Customer Experience.

This is inclusive of gathering and prioritizing requirements for the product, defining the vision for the product, and collaborating with engineering, marketing, sales and operations departments to ensure that the financial and consumer satisfaction goals are met, as well as the company's overall strategy and goals are supported by those of the product.

Responsibilities include collection of business and systems requirements from internal and external customers, writing specifications, driving project schedules from design to release and managing the production launch.

This role leverages functional expertise and knowledge of the business to increase operational efficiencies and transform all market facing businesses' experience.

The incumbent should also have a working knowledge of various software methodologies, in particular scales agile (SAFe)

**Billing and Payment Experience is required for this role.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Contribute towards creating the product strategy for one or more products in our growing digital product portfolio.
  • Use customer feedback, detailed market analysis, and data gathering to provide recommendations on decisions about product strategy.
  • Authors, tests, and accepts stories.
  • Define and manage metrics to measure the success of your efforts and to inform the overall product strategy.
  • Represent the voice of the customer ; invest significant time with current and potential customers to understand their needs and habits.
  • Engage in discovery/test & learn activities to quickly validate assumptions and product direction.
  • Provide input on decomposing complex problems into smaller manageable tasks by creating and prioritizing a backlog for the Product Team.
  • Manages the product backlog, contributes towards creating an effective vision and provide timely stakeholder feedback on development iterations.

Education and Experience:


  • 4 year Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • 5 or more years of experience (preferred)
  • In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:


  • No Certification, License or Registration is required for the job.

Functional Skills:


  • Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action, preferably with experience shipping software.
  • Experience operating in an environment driven by KPIs where you had the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your goals
  • Ability to contribute towards datadriven decision making on complex and innovative concepts
  • Ability to proactively anticipate problems and seek opportunities
  • Experience working in a fastpaced environment.
  • Advanced at breaking down work for iterative and incremental delivery.
  • Proficient at stakeholder management and transparent communication.

  • Possesses advanced working knowledge of policies and procedures in management or other technical fields.
