Social Pedagogue (m/f/d) for Interim Housing in Shickshinny We are looking for you for the Social Welfare Office of the state capital.

The position is part-time (70%) and permanent. Interim housing provides a temporary living arrangement through a public-law usage agreement. The "Interim Housing" team in the department of municipal emergency housing supports households with complex problems. The goal of interim housing is to place households in a long-term rental agreement.

Your main tasks:

You analyze the situation of households in the context of their housing history and develop support strategies and tailored assistance measures.

You are responsible for clarifying difficult, cross-jurisdictional individual cases. You advise clients on economic household management. You facilitate the placement in a long-term rental agreement.

You work with various social services, employees of the property office, housing companies, and colleagues in the administration of interim housing.

Your profile:

Degree in social work or social pedagogy (FH/BA) or Bachelor of Arts, or equivalent degree in social sciences or education.

In-depth understanding of the approaches and actions necessary in the field of supported housing. Ability to work across fields, network, and cooperate. Counseling and moderation skills, as well as knowledge of conflict management. Enjoyment of situational work and working in a team. Ideally, knowledge of debt counseling and the Social Security Code II and XII.
