- Receive incoming shipments of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Verify the accuracy of received items against purchase orders or shipping documents.
- Inspect deliveries for damage and report discrepancies or damages to the appropriate personnel.
- Label, tag, and store items in designated locations within the storeroom or warehouse.
- Maintain inventory records and update inventory management systems as needed.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock levels are low.
- Prepare and package items for shipment or delivery as required.
- Assist with periodic physical inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Keep the storeroom or warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards.
- Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a similar role preferred but not required.
