Description
In your new role at Perkins, MO, you will:

  • Utilize ANSYS EM simulation tools to perform 3D modeling and electromagnetic simulation of microelectronic packages, printed circuit boards, passive components, and antennas.
  • Develop and optimize RF/mmwave interconnections, passive components, and antennas.
  • Provide EM simulation support to our technology and product development teams for future technologies or products.

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Be currently studying Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Have experience in programming with MATLAB or Python.
  • Possess practical knowledge of ANSYS EM simulation tools such as Maxwell, HFSS, Q3D, and/or Designer.
  • Be fluent in English, with knowledge of German being a plus.
  • Have an English CV, certificate of enrollment at university, and a transcript of your latest grades (no older than 6 months).
  • Provide a high school report.

Important information:

  • This is a parttime position, with a maximum of 20 hours per week during the lecture period.
  • Proper students (according to German law) are welcome, as long as you are enrolled and have not completed your studies or modules yet, and can work with us for at least 6 months. You must also not be on a semester break.
  • You should live close to the site, as we value working with you onsite and integrating you into our team. Regular attendance at the site is required.
