TotalRecycle is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team to work at a cutting-edge recycle center in Birdsboro, PA.

This operators must be able to run a Wheel Loader.

This position is also known as the "Tipping Floor Foreman." This Operator is responsible for all activities that take place on the tipping floor.

This Operator is responsible for all personnel's placement and safety on the Tipping Floor at ANY time. No personnel, equipment or trucks may enter the building via bays 2-4 without direct authorization from the Loader Operator. No personnel may cross the tipping floor on foot at any time without direct authorization from the Loader Operator.

Shifts: 2nd Shift

2:00pm-10:30pm


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Tipping Floor Safety
  • Loading the Drumfeeder
  • Keeping a clean "Drum" in the Drumfeeder (Material Loaded into Drumfeeder
  • Receiving Inbound Customers
  • Preventative Maintenance of the Loader
  • Fueling the Loader
  • Receiving DDO (Direct Drop Off) Customers
  • Participate in DDO activity (when necessary)
  • Ensure the Operation yard is litter free
  • Assisting w/ cleanup of spill/leaks from Inbound Customers
  • Ensuring contaminant spills do not contaminate the SS (Single Stream)

TASKS:

  • Enforce Safety on the Tipping Floor
  • Complete understanding and enforcement of "Tipping Floor Rules"
  • Receive Inbound Customers
  • Ensure Safety of Customer
  • Be a pleasant and informative Customer Service Representative
  • Inspect Inbound Material
  • Photograph and report contaminants
  • Remove contaminants before loading into the "Drumfeeder"
  • Ensure JPM trailers are swept out before exit
  • Ensure JPM trailers are free of debris before exiting
  • Push the Pile
  • Direct Total Recycle Drivers
  • Authorize movement thru the Tipping Floor to swap Compactors, Rigid
  • Load & Direct Glass Trucks
  • Prioritize time to load "Glass Trucks"
  • Clean Drum during shutdowns (Must adhere to Lock Out/Tag Out procedure)
  • Periodically "Blow Out" radiator of "Loader"
  • Blowout must be logged
  • Perform periodic ECR (Equipment Condition Report)
  • Bi-Daily inspections of the bay doors
  • Report any damage done internally or by customers to the facility.
  • Assist in cleaning spill; notify maintenance of issue

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri:
2:00pm-10:30pm


Pay:
From $15.00 per hour
