With a population of just under 135,000, the district includes the town of Starnberg and 13 municipalities. The Starnberg District Office, with approximately 600 employees, prides itself on being a modern service provider with an innovative and forward-thinking administration.
We are currently seeking an experienced
IT System Administrator (m/f/d) (desktop infrastructure) to join our team full-time.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the deployment and roll-out of the desktop infrastructure
  • Overseeing mobile end devices using mobile device management
  • Collaborating with external partners to administer the PBX and unified communication platform
  • Managing the antivirus solution for the client infrastructure
  • Planning and implementing improvements for the existing IT landscape in the desktop infrastructure area
  • Troubleshooting and resolving operational issues
  • Handling and documenting tickets, particularly in second and third level support
  • Communicating and coordinating with service providers
  • Participating in IT projects, specifically for the further digitalization of the district office's infrastructure
