Hampden-Sydney is a successful, nationally active provider of aluminum and stainless steel building materials and systems, with connected processing centers for CNC sheet metal processing and a powder coating facility for aluminum components.

We are financially sound and looking to continue growing.

To support our team of 130 employees, we are seeking apprentices for the following positions starting on August 1, 2024:

Commercial Clerk for Wholesale and Foreign Trade, specializing in Wholesale; Bilingual French/German (ideally a native French speaker) Commercial Clerk for Freight Forwarding and Logistics Services; Warehouse Logistics Specialist; Warehouse Worker; Metalworking Specialist, specializing in Construction Technology; Machine and Equipment Operator (m/f/d).

We expect:

Intermediate school leaving certificate or higher for commercial apprenticeships
Good secondary school leaving certificate or higher for technical apprenticeships
Interest in business processes
Strong mathematical skills
Dedication, team spirit, flexibility, and reliability
Enjoyment of organizing and working with people
Good communication skills
Initiative.
