    Job Opportunity at Lakewood Ranch Hyatt Place

    Join our Team Today!

    The Lakewood Ranch Hyatt Place is searching for a talented cook to support our breakfast service. If you're a kitchen expert dedicated to delivering exceptional food and hospitality, we want you on our team. Every morning, we serve a delicious breakfast buffet to our guests at our Bistro in the lobby. We have positions available from 6am-2pm and 12pm-8pm. We can't wait to review your application!

    Summary of the Role: Responsible for daily preparation of high-quality food and upholding sanitation standards.

    Main Responsibilities

    • Ensure kitchen is set up correctly and on time daily
    • Follow designated recipes for food preparation
    • Maintain correct food quality and quantity
    • Adhere to QA and Health Department standards
    • Maintain cleanliness in work area at all times
    • Follow 'clean as you go' policy
    • Ensure proper rotation of goods - FIFO
    • Clean kitchen equipment and work areas after service
    • Follow production and cleaning charts
    • Promote and maintain safe work conditions
    • Adhere to kitchen regulations and guidelines
    • Complete necessary administrative tasks

    Education and Experience

    Qualifications for Consideration

    Applicants must pass a criminal background check and may need a valid driver's license with a safe driving record

    Physical Requirements

    To excel in this role, the employee must be able to communicate effectively, stand for extended periods, walk, kneel, stoop, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.

    Work Schedule

    This position may require varied hours, including nights and weekends, based on hotel needs.
