Three years culinary experience in a high volume, upscale, chef driven kitchen preferred. Basic knowledge of soups, sauces, butchery, and cooking techniques. A willingness to follow procedures, complete tasks in a timely, accurate and efficient manner. An understanding of menu preparation, ordering and production organization. Previous experience assisting in running a kitchen line of 5+ cooks at a time is a bonus. Hard-working, consistent, and assertive personality. Must have a sense of pride, sense of respect and a sense of urgency. Ability to work weekends and holidays.
