Through your cooperation, the safe and punctual operation of our ferry ships is ensured.

We are currently looking for a technical officer (m/f/d) for the island traffic to Wangerooge at DB Fernverkehr AG, starting as soon as possible.

Your responsibilities:

You will be responsible for monitoring, leading and effectively managing the engine operation of our ferry ships.
You will ensure compliance with regulations through optimal execution, control and documentation of maintenance.
Your tasks also include seamanship and operating safety equipment.
You will contribute to the safe and punctual operation, loading and unloading services, as well as training new employees in your area.
You will always keep your own qualifications, such as first aid, work, fire and environmental protection, in mind.

Your profile:

You hold a patent for managing the engine system (750 kW).
You have a valid seafarer's medical certificate and relevant qualifications.
Your work style is characterized by independence, diligence and results orientation.
You are eager to further develop your professional skills and participate in further training and courses.
You are familiar with digital communication tools, such as tablets, and have a strong understanding of various online applications.
You are willing to work in all weather conditions and are aware of the seasonal and tidal dependencies.

Type of position:
