Are you an experienced IT specialist and eager to apply your expertise in application development? At Brunel, you will work with your team to advise our development partners in areas such as database and data structures.

For this challenging task, we are looking for you as a Senior Application Supporter.

Your tasks

One focus of your work is advising the development partner by coordinating optimizations of database and data structures.
In your position as Senior Application Supporter, you will review and evaluate data consistency.
You will also be responsible for capturing, tracking, and accepting change requests.
Another task is implementing problem management by creating temporary diagnostic versions of software modules to detect and isolate issues.
You will support the crosssystem development of new processes and interfaces.
In addition, you will conduct fault analyses for software corrections.
Implementing system optimization measures to improve and stabilize performance.

Your profile

Successfully completed studies in computer science or a similar field, or trained as an IT specialist for application development/system integration
Solid professional experience in application support
ITIL Foundation certification
Good basic knowledge of working with JAVA, JIRA / Confluence, and HP Servicecenter (Client), as well as good user knowledge in working with databases (SQL and Oracle)
Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form
