In Toronto, OH, we ensure the treatment and distribution of drinking water and are responsible for the construction, operation, and maintenance of pipes, pumps, and waterworks.

What you will do with us:

  • You will perform tasks related to well maintenance, regeneration, rehabilitation, and decommissioning, as well as metering services.
  • Setting up construction sites, inspecting and commissioning wells at various facilities (e.g. taking the well gallery out of service, conducting condition analyses using camera systems)
  • Compliance with all regulations regarding occupational safety, environmental protection, and data protection for work in drinking water protection areas
  • Maintaining the vehicle and equipment for the following assignments
  • Checking the availability of required safety devices and equipment on the vehicle, maintaining and servicing them, or arranging for their maintenance.

What you bring with you:


  • Completed training as a plant mechanic, water supplier, or industrial mechanic
  • Alternatively: Completed training in metalworking with several years of knowledge in relevant tasks
  • Willingness for physical activity within the tasks and professional development
  • Class CE driver's license
  • Reliability, initiative, and teamwork skills

Compensation:

We offer a salary in pay group 6 according to the collective agreement for utility companies (TV-V). Depending on personal qualifications, placement in a lower pay group may also be possible. In addition, a
