Who are we?

AniCura Recklinghausen Small Animal Clinic is one of three clinics in the Westphalia-Lippe region and has a catchment area of approximately 60 km.

Many emergencies are referred to us by local veterinarians, allowing us to see a variety of interesting cases in the fields of surgery, internal medicine, neurology, dentistry, dermatology, and more.


Our equipment:
We have a complete in-house laboratory, ultrasound (abdominal and cardiac), digital radiography, endoscopy, arthroscopy, and a physiotherapy department. We are also in the process of expanding our facilities, including plans for an in-house CT scanner.


What do we offer?

In addition to top-of-the-line equipment, a rotating three-shift system, and a pleasant working atmosphere, our clinic offers salaries above the bpt standard (including emergency service supplements), precise digital time tracking, internal training opportunities, additional days off for external training (including a training budget after 2 years of employment), and the possibility to pursue a specialization in small animal or small animal surgery.

We also place importance on providing a strong foundation in all important diagnostic and treatment methods during the first years of rotation (from ultrasound to emergency surgeries) and supporting further specialization later on.

After a three-month training period, veterinarians will rotate between the areas of inpatient care, surgery, treatment, and emergency service. Weekend and night shifts are also rotated
