In this fast-paced, high energy environment where attention to detail is essential, how do we ensure our food and beverage (F&B) equipment is kept up and running smoothly? As a Food & Beverage Repair Technician, you will complete assigned repair tasks throughout the food venues, and ensure all safety policies, procedures, and regulations are followed.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Maintain F&B equipment by inspecting, repairing, and installing equipment throughout all food venues. Conduct preventative maintenance on all F&B equipment.
  • Complete F&B work requests as they are assigned in a timely, accurate manner.
  • Operate and take care of all phases of restaurant appliance repair.
  • Order, receive, stock, and maintain the parts inventory.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to Occupational Safety and Health Administration safety requirements and company safety policies to assure the safety of company team members and guests.
  • Perform job duties in full compliance with departmental Internal Controls, policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Three years of experience in food equipment repair or related field; or 5 years of mechanical maintenance experience are required.
  • Appliance repair certification or Associates degree from a trade school is preferred. Commercial Food Equipment Service Association (CFESA) certification is preferred. Valid certification for handling refrigerants preferred (Universal Certification preferred).
  • Office skills must include the ability to use standard office equipment and general knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to use strong organization skills and attention to detail to accurately handle multiple job duties and projects in a fastpaced environment.
  • The ability to use basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and counting using whole numbers and fractions.
  • The ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
  • The ability to maintain discretion in handling confidential information.
  • The ability to interact with guests and team members professionally.
  • The ability to work irregular hours and extended shifts including late nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, sit, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move freely throughout the property for duration of scheduled shift. The team member is frequently required to use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls, and reach with hands and arms. The team member must be able to operate a personal computer. The team member is required to lift, carry, push, pull, or move objects up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with assistance. Team member must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing job duties. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Working Conditions
The noise level is usually moderate to loud. When on the casino floor the noise level increases. The facility is not smoke free.

While performing the duties of this job, the team member will work near moving parts and extreme noise, such as kitchen equipment, and will be required to work in a hot environment, such as over and near ovens, cooktops, and open flames, and in a cold environment, such as in freezer/production prep kitchen areas.
