Brief overview of the apprenticeship
In the apprenticeship for an Environmental Technologist for Water Supply, you will learn the necessary steps to produce drinking water from raw water. This includes taking water samples, testing water quality, and keeping documentation. You will also learn about the control, maintenance, and monitoring of water production and distribution systems.
3-year apprenticeship
Requirements: Intermediate school leaving certificate, good grades in natural sciences and technical understanding. Interest in working outdoors.
Vocational school: Hans-Viessmann-Schule in Frankenberg (block instruction)
