Description

An apprenticeship as a packaging technologist at KOLB is a training with variety, creativity, and responsibility. As a packaging technologist, you will answer questions such as:

  • How is corrugated cardboard created and ultimately turned into packaging?
  • What ecological and economic requirements must a modern packaging fulfill?
  • How individual can packaging be?

You will learn the fundamental basics of packaging design and production technologies, providing you with a solid foundation for your future training. In addition to knowledge in the metal industry, hydraulics, and pneumatics, the focus will be on working in production. This will be accompanied by theoretical training in two to three-week blocks at the vocational school in Lindau am
Bodensee.

As a packaging technologist, you will learn one of the most important professions at the KOLB Group. After successfully completing the apprenticeship, you will be a specialist in packaging and have a comprehensive understanding of corrugated cardboard production.
