Job Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, catering arrangements, and logístical planning.
- Communicate with vendors, sponsors, and participants to ensure all necessary arrangements are made and deadlines are met.
- Maintain accurate records and databases related to event planning, including budgets, guest lists, and postevent evaluations.
- Assist with administrative tasks as needed, such as preparing materials, scheduling meetings, and responding to inquiries from attendees.
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with event management software is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
- Creative thinking and problemsolving abilities to handle unexpected challenges during events.
