This exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated individual to join our growing team as a Supply Chain, Order Entry & Customer Service Associate.
You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business by managing multiple accounts simultaneously and utilizing your strong analytical and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Process customer orders and prepare accurate Purchase Orders in our ERP system.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas to create effective quotes.
- Manage all aspects of ecommerce orders, including entering, processing, picking, packing, shipping, and reporting.
- Respond to customer inquiries regarding quotes and orders, ensuring timely and professional communication.
- Prepare and follow up on Requests for Quotes (RFQs) for both existing and prospective clients.
- Assist with inventory management tasks and provide general sales and customer service support.
- Answer phone inquiries and provide solutions to customer needs.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, such as supply chain, order entry, or customer service.
- Proven ability to multitask effectively and manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel with advanced formulas.
- Indepth knowledge and experience working with QuickBooks Online (essential).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Detailoriented with a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
- Data entry, order entry, invoicing with excellent attention to detail
- Preparing supplier purchase orders
- Quoting customers and prospective customersa nd quote follow up
- Customer service general sales/customer service assistance, quoting prospects & customers (RFQs), quote follow up, preparing purchasing reports
- Filing and administration
- Assisting in the preparation of weekly reporting in Excel on individual and company metrics
- Data Entry, Order Entry with Excellent Attention to Detail
- Basic math skills (markups, fractions, margins)
- Strong phone and customer service skills with an excellent phone voice
- Excellent communication and professional and friendly rapport with all business contacts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Familiarization with inventory databases/systems a plus
- Sourcing or purchasing experience a plus
Requirements:
- Available 800a4p M-F (in person)
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in an office setting preferred
- Microsoft Office experience including strong Excel and data entry skills
- Organized, detail minded, with the ability to plan & prioritize
- Enthusiastic, reliable with a friendly and helpful attitude and a good work ethic
- Preferred skills: Basic training or coursework in supply chain, inside sales, customer service or marketing preferred
- Excellent driving record and must have own car
Pay:
From $55,000.00 per year
