Key Requirements and Responsibilities:

Passion for Dogs: A genuine love and enthusiasm for dogs is essential. Employees should enjoy spending time with dogs and be committed to their welfare.

Experience with Dogs: Previous experience working with dogs, either professionally or through volunteer work, is often preferred. This could include dog walking, pet sitting, volunteering at animal shelters, or previous employment at a doggy daycare, kennel, or veterinary clinic.

Knowledge of Dog Behavior: Understanding canine behavior, body language, and social dynamics is important for maintaining a safe and harmonious environment. Employees should be able to recognize signs of stress, aggression, or discomfort in dogs and know how to respond appropriately.

Physical Demand: Working at a doggy daycare can be physically demanding. Employees should be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift objects (including dogs up to 50lbs) comfortably throughout the day.

Communication Skills: Effective communication with both dogs and humans is essential. Employees should be able to communicate clearly and professionally with clients, coworkers, and other staff members.
