    Description

If so, come and be part of our team as we assist early childhood education initiatives nationwide, aiming to generate positive outcomes for the children and families we support.

    As a Family Advocate at Acelero Learning, you have the chance to give back to your local community by actively engaging and assisting the families and children in our program. Your role involves empowering parents to play an active role in preparing their child for kindergarten.

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Engage families as partners in promoting their children's overall development and preparedness for school
    • Participate in a collaborative partnership-building process with families of children enrolled in (Early) Head Start services
    • Cultivate a community spirit and a sense of belonging among families to enhance social connections
    • Establish relationships that facilitate better communication and collaboration among various stakeholders, both internal and external
    • Effectively manage tasks and maintain accurate records and documentation
    • Ensure compliance with eligibility, selection, and enrollment procedures in accordance with HSPS and Shine Early Learning ISP/PP standards

    Job Requirements:

    • Prior experience working with underserved families

    Must be fluent in Spanish

    • A dedication to achieving positive outcomes for children and families through effective family engagement
    • Associate's Degree in Social Work, Human Services, Family Services, Counseling, or a related field; Bachelor's Degree is preferred
    • Access to reliable transportation as travel between locations may be necessary, locally or occasionally up to 10% of the time for work-related events
