Essential Duties

  • Manage curriculum operations for Graduate and PhD programs, including new program implementation.
  • Serve as the college's main point of contact for the following curriculum relatedsystems and processes, working closely with others. Responsibilities include managing key processes, communicating key deadlines, monitoring approval process, tracking progress, creating reports, identifying who needs access, and supporting training needs.
  • Kuali Curriulcum Management in line with ASU's Academic Planning cycle, Office of the University Provost and Arizona Board of Regents (ABOR) requirements.
  • Program Assessment Plan Portal associated with the Univesity Office of Evalatuion and Educational Effectiveness (UOEEE) requirements.
  • Onboard with new faculty directors and oversee faculty communication across all academic units and programs.
  • Supervise curriculum coordinators and scheduling support teams.
  • Partner with W. P. Carey Marketing team and academic units to maintain catalogs for all master's programs and PhD programs.
  • Oversee communication with university administrative offices regarding program implementation.
  • Lead project blueprinting and process creation for all graduate programs through the academic plan process with ASU Graduate College and other partner colleges.
  • Monitor enrollment projections and understand the budget implications associated with academic programs and courses to make decisions that are fiscally responsible (e.g., program fees, revenue streams, instruction costs and breakeven points).
  • Manage comprehensive academic program reviews and academic program quality assessments, and make recommendations on resource alignment.
  • Create and maintain concurrent degree contracts and partnerships for graduate programs.
  • Identify gaps in curriculum processes at a college level, and propose solutions for streamlined communication with all stakeholders.
  • Lead the program assessment planning and reporting process, working closely with other curriculum staff, faculty directors, and the University Office of Evaluation and Educational Effectiveness.
  • Supervise the coordinating and review of course evaluations with curriculum staff.
  • Other Duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications


Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND six (6) years of related administrative experience, which includes three (3) years of supervisory experience; OR, Ten (10) years of related administrative experience, which includes three (3) years of supervisory experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.


Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge of undergraduate and graduate curriculum, ASU curricular policies and procedures in higher education; and knowledge of GPO curricula.
  • Experience working with instructors, faculty, staff, and students in a higher education environment.
  • Experience with hiring, supervising, and coordinating the work of others.
  • Evidence of effective communication skills.
  • Experience in adapting to new technology.
  • Evidence of being detailoriented, skilled at multitasking, enjoying puzzles and problem solving, and making decisions in line with organizational goals and around critical deadlines.

Working Environment

  • Frequent bending, reaching, lifting, pushing and pulling up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to clearly communicate to perform essential functions.
