The company Buck & Son is a modern family business based in Hamburg with around 30 employees, combining traditional craftsmanship and trade of plastic semi-finished products and pipeline components under one roof.

In addition to distribution, our range of services also includes custom manufacturing of individual parts, container construction, and maintenance and repair of all types of systems.


We are continuing our growth and are currently seeking a Production Planner/Work Preparation Specialist (m/f/d) to join our forward-thinking company as soon as possible.


Responsibilities:

  • Planning of production orders with the goal of optimal machine utilization in terms of costeffectiveness, quality, and delivery date
  • Preparation of production documents and occupancy plans
  • Management of efficient use of raw materials
  • Participation in machine and shift occupancy plans in terms of capacity utilization and needs
  • Planning of personnel resources in production
  • Analysis and optimization of work processes
  • Pre and postcalculation
  • Coordination with involved departments and monitoring of optimizations
  • Inspection of quality, material, quantity, and execution before delivery of goods
  • Maintenance and management of master data (articles, bills of materials, etc.)
  • Coordination of installations in domestic and international locations

Qualifications:

  • Completed technical education with additional qualification as a master or technician
  • Several years of experience in work preparation, ideally in the plastic or wood industry
  • Knowledge of CNC and turning desirable
  • Experience in leading employees
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Resultsoriented work style and high
