Big Piney is currently seeking a full-time IT System Administrator (m/f/d) to join our team at our headquarters in Fürth, located at Industriestr.

3, As a wholesale supplier, we provide colors, paints, wallpapers, flooring, and tools to craftsmen and industrial companies. We are a family-owned medium-sized company with six locations and over 100 employees in the northern Bavarian region.

In this role, you will be responsible for the administration of our IT systems, including hardware and software, after a period of training.

This includes managing our Windows servers (some in a virtual HyperV environment), an IBM Power9 server, and Windows client computers.

You will also be responsible for maintaining our entire company IT network, including firewalls and all telecommunications equipment, as well as managing user accounts, permissions, and IP addresses.
