Your responsibilities

In this position, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing legal support for Uniper's global trading business, particularly in the commodities sector. This includes delivering expert advice and guidance on derivative and physical transactions in a variety of energy commodities, with a focus on the legal aspects of structures for renewable power purchase agreements (PPAs).
  • Your tasks will include leading negotiations and managing standardized trading contracts based on either EFET or other documentation for renewable power purchase agreements. Additionally, you will be actively involved in the development, drafting, and negotiation of structured trading deals in the commodities sector.
  • You will also support in the creation and implementation of internal service level agreements and transfer pricing agreements. Coordinating with all business areas of the company on a global level is an essential part of your daily work to clarify legal issues related to worldwide trading activities.
  • Another focus will be on identifying, evaluating, and monitoring current and emerging regulatory and compliance
