Research Assistant (m/f/d)

Duration: 3 years

Area of focus:
Quantitative Methods of Empirical Social Research and Social Structure Analysis

Your responsibilities:

Participation in teaching, particularly in the methods training for social science bachelor's and master's programs
Participation in research with the goal of obtaining a doctorate
Supervision of seminar papers, exams, and final theses
Maintenance of datasets for research and teaching
Participation in university selfadministration

Requirements:

Excellent or good degree in a social sciencerelated field
Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods of empirical social research

Ideally, you also have:

A focus on quantitative research on inequality
Practical research experience, particularly in preparing and analyzing complex survey data using advanced methods
Excellent knowledge of relevant statistical programs (especially Stata)
Teaching experience
