Research Assistant (m/f/d)

Duration: 3 years
Area of focus:
Quantitative Methods of Empirical Social Research and Social Structure Analysis
Your responsibilities:
- Participation in teaching, particularly in the methods training for social science bachelor's and master's programs
- Participation in research with the goal of obtaining a doctorate
- Supervision of seminar papers, exams, and final theses
- Maintenance of datasets for research and teaching
- Participation in university selfadministration
Requirements:
- Excellent or good degree in a social sciencerelated field
- Excellent knowledge of quantitative methods of empirical social research
Ideally, you also have:
- A focus on quantitative research on inequality
- Practical research experience, particularly in preparing and analyzing complex survey data using advanced methods
- Excellent knowledge of relevant statistical programs (especially Stata)
- Teaching experience
