We are currently looking for a resident physician (m/f/d) for general, visceral and vascular surgery at Eldora.


The modern acute care hospitals are spread across two locations and have approximately 15 specialist departments, four centers, as well as a chest pain unit and stroke unit.

Each year, more than 1,500 employees care for approximately inpatient cases and around outpatient cases. The hospitals have 550 beds and are renowned as academic teaching hospitals. The internal medicine department has full authorization for further education. Each year, over 5,500 inpatient and more than pre- and post-inpatient and outpatient patients are treated.

The specialist clinic for general, visceral and vascular surgery has around 30 beds, with an additional five planned beds on the interdisciplinary ward.

Each year, 1,500 inpatient and 500 outpatient patients are treated here. Interdisciplinary collaboration is practiced within the clinic, and the entire range of abdominal surgery is offered.


The clinic is located only 30 minutes from the nearest major city and is in close proximity to the train station.

The proximity to the city, as well as the view of the historically influenced settlement with its many sights, speak for the location and are the reason for many moves to this peaceful community.
