Description

Recreation therapy Aide for our clients in
San Diego, CA 92110. This role is an ongoing long term contract assignment.


Schedule:
Flexible, all days a week 8-4:30, 8:30-5, 11:30-8 (Initial Onsite Training for 2 full weeks with 10 shifts which will be paid)


REQUIRED LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS

License:

A valid California Class C driver's license is required at time of appointment or the ability to arrange transportation for field travel.

Employees in this class may be required to use their own vehicle.


Essential Functions:


  • Assists with planning, organizing, documenting, and implementing recreational activities such as special events, field trips, and other physical, social, cognitive and spiritual activities.
  • Assists with or conducts group and individual activities.
  • Assesses patient activity needs, documents patient participation and charts patient's progress.
  • Motivates patients to encourage participation in activities.
  • Assists adult education instructors during classes.
  • Transfers and transports wheelchair patients.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to Relocate:

  • San Diego, CA: Relocate before starting work (required)
