The Development and Partnership Manager helps to drive the strategic fundraising plan by cultivating and nurturing partnerships and implementing and adjusting key communications.

This position has a role in special events and develops donor and community relationships to increase the visibility of MCCH in the community and secure support for MCCH programs and clients.

The Development and Partnership Manager supports the Director of Development and Community Partnership, working closely with the communication and the database team members.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Supporting Director of Development and Community Partnerships in developing and implementing the strategic plan, adjusting as needed.
  • Develop existing corporate and other key partnerships and establish new ones in the community.
  • Foster increased engagement and support from key donors.
  • Work alongside communications specialist to implement and adjust marketing content alongside fundraising campaigns and regular communications.
  • Participate in existing and locate new community events to boost awareness and enhance the brand of MCCH.
  • Lead efforts to secure sponsorships for Garden Gala event, both past and new.
  • Develop a yearly engagement calendar including tours, parties, and small events to build connections with key donors, corporate leaders, and elected officials.
  • Monitor progress against goals and report regularly alongside the database coordinator.

Requirements:


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • Undergraduate degree required, with at least 35 years of professional experience, ideally on a nonprofit fundraising team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated competency in relationship management and customer service.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously with effective attention to detail.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups.
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships and contribute to productive team culture.
  • Supportive of MCCH's mission and able to effectively communicate the value of the mission to others.
