The Hessian State Theatre Wiesbaden is looking for two part-time dressers (m/f/d) to join our team from September 1st, 2023 to August 31st, 2025 in a fixed-term position.

Who we are:
The Hessian State Theatre Wiesbaden is a five-division house with around 600 employees.

Each season, we offer a diverse cultural program with more than 40 productions in opera, drama, ballet, concerts, and children and youth theatre, as well as numerous guest performances.

Our repertoire includes both classical works and modern music theatre and contemporary drama.

The two festivals of the State Theatre Wiesbaden, the annual INTERNATIONAL MAY FESTIVAL and the biennial WIESBADEN BIENNALE, hold a high significance.

What are your main responsibilities?
Your main task will be to support various productions in all divisions and stages of our theatre.

You will set up the dressing rooms assigned by the department management, conduct a completeness check of costumes based on the costume list, and ensure a smooth process for the artists' changes and quick changes on or off stage during performances.

Your responsibilities also include caring for and maintaining costumes and costume pieces, including washing, cleaning, ironing, repairing, and altering costumes.

You will be responsible for the completeness and proper condition of the costumes and accessories used.
