You are not alone

  .. God is with us ..           

He is the truest of Friends & He abides with you & me

Though He is a Spirit .. you cannot see

He made the worlds in all their glory

His earthy birth is the heart of the Christmas story

He knows you by name .. like all of the stars

God is ever NEAR .. though He seems to be so far

                                                                                                 History is HIS-Story

                                                                                       “I am with you always.” - Jesus 

                                                                                Emmanuel means “God WITH us”

“In the fullness of time” God's plan for the redemption of His world unfolded. Jesus Christ our Savior was born.

The Messiah will be called “Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” 

The Greatest Giver: 

“God is love. This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 

This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” - 1 John 4

God’s own testimony: “God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” – 1 John 5

The Greatest Gift: 

“For to us a child is born, to us a Son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And He will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” - Isaiah 9:6     

“The true light that gives light to every man was coming into the world. He was in the world, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God - children born not of natural descent, not of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.” - John 1:10-14

Why Christ came:        

“God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ .. not counting people’s sins against them”  - 2 Corinthians 5:19

God is Almighty, All-knowing, All-powerful, All-sufficient, Omnipotent & Omniscient 

 “Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you .. to show you compassion” - Isaiah 30:18                                                                      

God loves you .. God knows you .. and his greatest gift is that you can know Him. 

Are you tired of “fake news” .. are you looking for TRUTH & “good news” .. this is the “Gospel” 

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” - John 3:17-17

God knows you better than anyone: better that your parents or siblings .. your best friend .. your spouse .. even better than you know yourself.

In Psalm 139 this truth is beautifully explained: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I am fearfully & wonderfully made. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. You have searched me and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise, you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out & my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways.”

Glory above & glory below: There are billions of stars and “God knows each one by name” 

In all of creation: there is only one YOU and God knows you by name.

Do you listen for His voice?          

The world is filled with NOISE.  If you are not attentive that noise will dull your hearing .. dull your spirit and dull your senses. 

When Christ was transfigured on the mountain, God the Father said: "This is my Son whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. LISTEN to Him!"           - Mark 9:7

"He who belongs to God hears what God says" - John 8:47

As you hear, “listen to Him” and obey. Hold close to your heart God’s precious promises. As you know him more and lay hold of who you are “in Christ” .. this knowledge will be a continual source of peace, provision & protection .. edification, endurance & encouragement .. growth, strength, healing & wisdom .. direction, fulfillment & purpose.

“Be whole-hearted” 

All of you for all of Him. Learn to cooperate with the Holy Spirit. "Have your mind set on what the Spirit desires .. for the mind controlled by the Spirit is LIFE and Peace." - Romans 8:5-6

“Be expectant” He “is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think” - Ephesians 3:20

“Be assured” God loves you: continually & unconditionally.  In His love letters to us – we are told:  “I have summoned you by name, you are mine. You are precious & honored in my sight” - Isaiah 43

“I am the Lord, your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you .. do not be afraid .. I myself will help you”- Isaiah 41:13-14 

Jesus Christ has given us His Word: “I will not leave you an orphan; I will come to you.” - John 14 

I am with you always. You are not alone.
