Would you rather have Perfect Sight or Clear Vision?
This might be a confusing question for some people, but I want you to look at this from a certain point of view. Most people live their days either looking forward or looking backwards. This is Sight. They may be so good at planning, seeing the path in front of them, that they can see every detail that others donât even notice.
Yet, when they consider doing something new or doing things a different way, a new world opens up to them. If they are focused on the history of their failed attempts or the past, they will only find the avenues that didnât work. When they dwell on it long enough, they become an expert on why the idea didnât work, instead answering the question âhow could it have worked?â.
Top Selling Author and researcher of success, Napoleon Hill, wrote, âWhatever the mind can conceive and believe it can achieve.â So, if there is an idea that keeps popping up in your mind, you may want to take a long hard look at the possibility of achieving it. This is Vision.
Your creative, solution-oriented vision is what lets you see the possibilities. It helps us focus on the benefits of taking positive action. So, set your sights on what your expanded vision tells you is possible. Then focus on helping others during this process. "You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want." - Zig Ziglar
I feel that few people truly have Vision, yet have great Sight. Society today seems to teach that sight is more important. You need all your immediate senses for your career in life. Yet, their Vision is usually to just make it to payday. Unfortunately, that doesnât lead to grander accomplishments or a richer, more meaningful life experience. Thatâs all they are focused on, so thatâs all they are getting.
When you have Vision, or a Dream, you begin to feel you have a worthy purpose for being here. You have daily hope and know there is something beyond the next obstacle, besides more of the same routine in your life. You are one of the few people looking forward to MONDAY. It's a new week to reach your goals.
If all you believe in is what you can physically see, than your life is out of your control. Circumstances of the world are now in control of your life. You see this on television. Be allowing what is going on in the Media to control the rest of their life.Â
Helen Keller was asked once âWhat would be worse than being born blind?â to which she replied âHaving sight without a vision.â
