Where do I get the Time to build my Business

Another obstacle that I needed to overcome was time? I kept telling myself, “I just don’t have the time. I am to Busy" This was always my excuse. I realized that this was all mindset and priorities in my head. Everybody in the world has the same number of hours in a day, 24. Now, my question is "how am I going to use them?"

Changing my routine was the hardest part for me. Blogging on beBee is just one method that is like cutting a short-cut through a thick forest. Imagine that your destination to a endless pot of gold was on the other side of a thick forest. You can see the pot just twenty yards away. The trees are so thick and sharp you can not reach it, and you have no tools of any type. So you don’t have to go through the thickness of the sharp trees, you take a long journey around the forest. This journey is safer, and takes 50 times as long. When you get to the pot of gold, you fill up your bags, and come home. You use the gold you could carry back home to pay your bills, buy food, and spend some time with your family. Yet, you now it's time to turn around and start your journey again.

A friend tells you, "Take the short path through the woods."  You decided to try it for the first time. Because you have never taken this route through the woods there is no path. You are breaking limbs along the away. You get nervous and even think about turning around. A branch even came back and hit you in the face. Finally, you made the short cut through the woods. It was shorter, yet just as hard as the long route because of the extra work of breaking the branches. You are very tired and even slightly injured from this path. So, you decide to walk the road back after you fill your bags with the gold.

The next time you need to go the pot, you remembered the shortcut but also remember the hardship. When you looked outside and you now notice that many of the branches are already broken because you walked the path before. So, you take it once more. As you begin to walk this path, it becomes easier, and there is a more open path, free from branches and obstacles and fear.

beBee is like one of these shortcuts. Getting started is the only hardship. This story is like when I began to write articles. When I began to blog, I didn’t know when I would have the time to blog or even what to do. So, this change was so hard. Over time, I created habit from consistent action. I also had all the bees showing me from their honey they posted. They were like someone breaking branches in front of me. Every time, someone liked, shared or commented on one of my articles they made my path more visible. 

The most important thing I realized is all the work that I put into any blog or post, would be on the internet forever. Even the post that I am writing at this very moment will be like an employee working 24/7. I did not ever have to write this again, yet it will work for me forever. My next goal is to promote it. Yet, that is a different topic.

I have the time somewhere. I just needed to ask myself, what are my priorities and goals? Now I need to learn to compound my time.

That endless of gold is time. I don't have 24 hours of day, yet each of my buzzes do. I am a bee creating honey in this community. Yet, each one of my buzzes is a working bee making a pot of golden honey for me.
