What are Your Goals for the New Year?

Everybody usually has some type of New Year’s Resolutions. We all have goals that we want to achieve the next year that we didn’t accomplish the year before. Yet, over 80% of each of us with these goals quit within the first two to three weeks.

I don’t believe that our goals were unattainable. I feel that we did not put a working plan or system in front of them that we could follow to obtain their goal. I read that it takes 21 days to make or replace a habit with a new one. So, to achieve a goal in the new year, you are going to have to take different actions everyday. This can sometimes be frustrating without help. You now have to replace an old habit with whatever action is needed to reach your goal.

Unless you have a system or a leader to follow, most people will stray back to their daily lives. Those who have a system, it is the now the focus of motivation. That is a different topic.
