6 X Guadalupe – Austin, Texas

Construction recently began on this 66-story office and residential tower. Being developed by Lincoln Property Co. and Kairoi Residential, 6 X Guadalupe will be Austin’s next tallest tower. The two towers, residential and office, will be stacked one on top of the other, which makes this one of the most complex projects in the downtown central business district.

800 Stewart St – Seattle, Colorado

Being developed by Lincoln Property Co., this tower will be 53 stories high, with office space on the lower floors and 568 residences above, with retail planned for the base of the tower, located at 800 Stewart street. The tower is located right next to the existing Blackfoot tower, which is currently being leased by Amazon.

One Congress Tower – Boston, Massachusetts

Being developed by HYM Investment Group, this 600 foot, 43-story tower is located in Boston’s Government Center. The project is backed by a joint venture between Carr Properties and National Real Estate Advisors and is estimated to cost around one billion dollars. The tower will feature a one-acre roof deck, as well as 30,000 square feet of fitness, wellness, food and beverage offerings.

Amazon HQ2 – Arlington County, Virginia

Amazon is currently in the middle of developing a pair of 22-story buildings in Arlington County. Combining for 2.1 million square feet, the structures are being developed above a below-grade parking structure with 1,968 parking spaces. Amazon’s latest endeavor calls for a “significant amount of new public open space, including the extension of the existing central park and new public plazas.” Amazon’s plans also include space to store 200 bicycles as well as 318 lockers and 12 showers. 

601 City Center – Oakland, California

This 24-story, 600,000 square foot tower is close to finishing up construction and is being developed by Shorenstein Properties. General contractor Hathaway Dinwiddie is handling construction, and the office space is already a little more than 50% leased up.
