[UBS officially announced the acquisition of Credit Suisse] Golden Finance reported that the Swiss National Bank said that UBS today announced the acquisition of Credit Suisse. The central bank will provide substantial liquidity assistance to support UBS' acquisition of Credit Suisse. Both UBS and Credit Suisse have unlimited access to the SNB's existing facilities. The SNB can provide up to 100 billion Swiss francs in liquidity assistance loans to Credit Suisse, with federal default guarantees.
