Trying Too Hard to Do Something For Everyone?

Trying Too Hard to Do Something For Everyone?

It’s been a while since I wrote anything to blog about. My brother called me today and asked if I was still writing. Since he’s the third or fourth person who’s asked me that I think it’s time to start writing and drawing again.

I’ve been busy looking for a new place. The one I’m at is kind of far out. Since I don’t drive anymore because of my vertigo I’m stuck on the bus. The last one that runs on the weekend stops at 7:00 p.m.

It takes about an hour to walk from the park and ride to the house. That’s not so bad. The area around Seattle is nice, but I really don’t want to walk through an area where nobody knows me. It’ not a farm town.

NO REGRETS IN LIFE.
JUST LESSONS LEARNED.

This picture came up when I was checking out pinetrest. It got me thinking about a conversation I had with a family member about someone trying to hold the family together when the rest of us have our own lives.

I won’t go into details, but when it’s time for people to move on and a person or a few people at the job or in someone’s personal life want to keep a group together I think there’s a lot of wasted energy. You can’t keep coming up with answers to questions nobody asked, like HawkEye in the picture.

People will laugh and it might work for a little while but sooner or later it’s not funny anymore. Times change and people move on anyways. They have their own plans and their own lives.

Well I guess it’s time for me to get off my soap box

Mark, Keep writing as honestly and conversationally as you do now. Youi have what writers call "voice." Just be yourself and it reaches out to grab people.
