TOP 4 PLACES TO HUNT IN NORTH
AMERICA

You’ll be hard-pressed to find anything quite like hunting in North America. If you are a hunter who likes to travel, you may be wondering about the best places to hunt throughout North America. After all, you can’t go out thinking that you’ll be able to hunt just anywhere. Doing so can present a host of legal issues that you don’t want to deal with. Luckily for you, we’ve got some of the best places you can go for your hunting adventure.

Montana

Montana is hailed as one of the best states for outdoorsmen. Montana is huge, which is no surprise given that it’s the fourth-biggest state in the U.S. Here, you will be able to hunt a slew of animals. This includes mule and white-tailed deer, turkeys, pronghorn antelope, bison, and others. You can even hunt down waterfowl and upland birds.

Alaska

There are many things to consider before heading to Alaska to hunt. For many, it’s the best state to hunt but you will need an out-of-state license if you aren’t a local. You’ll also have to research when is the best time to hunt for certain species in Alaska due to migration. If you play your cards right, you’ll be able to hunt moose, muskox, caribou, mountain goat, and the brown bear. There is a lot more prep work to hunt in Alaska than in other states but it’ll be worth it.

Colorado

Ah yes, the Rocky Mountains. Colorado is another top destination for hunters. If it’s elk that you seek to hunt, Colorado is where you’ll want to be. No other state will give you the ample opportunity to hunt down elk that Colorado does. Elk won’t be the only thing you can hunt, however. There’s also bighorn sheep, mountain lions, and black bear along with deer and other animals.

British Columbia

This is a fantastic area for hunting but it’s done with some restrictions. Canada is strict on guns, so you’ll need a guided hunting session. Part of the guide combos includes lynx, wolf, moose, bear, deer, and others. You can even hunt mule deer archery style.

Hunting in North America can be quite the rush. Be sure you know what you need before traveling to these destinations.
