The Souls Kiss
"It is the souls kiss, challenging us through the ghosts and goblins of the mind, to bring into being the very best version of ourselves."
Cyndi Wilkins -Author
We generally do not associate the models of science and the role they play in cultivating the imagination, but it is so based in large part due to the powers of observation, the key ingredient of the imagination. Varied responses to a recurring stimulus will bring about varied results in our experience of them. For instance, if we were to try responding in several different ways to the same situation, we will experience several different realities unfold from that same stimuli. In this way, we can choose for ourselves the most desirable outcome.
It is interesting when we consider how differently we act when we are aware that someone we are attracted to is watching us. Obviously, being observed effects our behavior as we shift back and forth depending upon who is doing the observing. We recycle our personalities in response to any given situation...A sort of "smoke and mirrors" effect...Will the real you please stand up?
It is this constant role playing of the personality that leads us on a journey of self-discovery, and by the virtue of this process alone we are made aware of our many different "selves" and the roles they play in the physical world. It is the souls kiss, challenging us through the ghosts and goblins of the mind, to bring into being the very best version of our "selves."
" If we have a problem with someone, the first step in defeating it is taking responsibility for our own role in creating it."-Cyndi
As we begin to see the world through these different sets of eyes, we recognize which of these personalities is responsible for creating any given situation. The way we behave then, becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy. What goes around comes around like a boomerang effect. In other words, our perception of others when we are interacting with them will likely create the experience we have with them. They will mirror back to us our own thoughts and behaviors, so if we have a problem with someone, the first step in defeating it is taking responsibility for our own role in creating it.
"Let them laugh at you for being different; They are the ones who are stuck in sameness, where there is little room for growth."
Reflecting on the things we find problematic in our lives will reveal to us the truth of our own ideals. What is it we really hope to accomplish in this lifetime? Is it fame and fortune? Or perhaps it is love of the most extraordinary kind. The latter is my favorite... I love LOVE! The kind of love that lights up your whole being, not just "parts" of it;-) But true intelligent love is very hard to find. It is a higher expression far beyond the limitations of the physical.
Nobody wishes pain upon themselves, but that too can serve a much higher purpose than one might imagine. It is often that the human spirit shines most brightly when it is challenged by pain or illness. If you believe in such a thing as the spirit, know that yours is always hard at work to bring to your awareness a better understanding of yourself in relation to the way you behave in the world. Let them laugh at you for being different, they are the ones who are stuck in sameness, where there is little room for growth.
"There is much more to be obtained from the right mental attitude, respecting circumstances of either physical, mental or spiritual, than by the use of any conditions outside of the self."
Edgar Cayce
By viewing our lives through the energies of compassion, perhaps one might come to discover the experience of their pain or illness is to serve as motivation for others to seek alternative therapies in respect to healing. Or maybe even encourage a grieving teenager to think twice before terminating a life that they know serves a future purpose for teaching others how to survive the process of deep grief. The possibilities are endless.
Our lives are meant to serve as an exchange of information through experience. Not one life is wasted...Let me say that again...NOT ONE LIFE IS WASTED. We are all active participants here serving as our own greatest teachers. Taking a more stoic approach by falling victim to our circumstances leaves us emotionally vulnerable. However, taking responsibility for our conditions brings us in touch with the true essence of who and what we really are...EXTRAORDINARY.
Many Blessings,
Cyndi

Yes, I quite agree with that statement Joyce \ud83d\udc1d Bowen...I think for clarity sake, within the body of the article I wrote..." If we have a problem with someone, then we need to take a closer look at our role in creating it...The 'quote' you mention didn't reflect that...moving in to change that now;-) Thanks for picking that up for me;-)
