The Intersection of Thought

The Intersection of Thought

1f113c46.jpg

You know when you’re in your car on a side street and you’re facing an extremely busy intersection of traffic? You’re looking both ways like you’re watching a ping-pong game being played furiously back and forth.

Yet the traffic both ways is relentless and you’re like WTF?

And then you feel your adrenaline amping up as you look at the cars zooming by and assess at lightning speed how to get across to the other side or at least make it to the middle lane?

At some point you confront it, pull the trigger, and you go for it.

All that traffic in simple terms is motion.

Albeit, a lot of motion in both directions.

It takes some confront to navigate it otherwise you’re toast.

Now, look at a conversation you’ve had with someone that ended up in a disagreement, argument, or upset.

And that right there is unresolved motion in your mind.

You will wake up with that unresolved motion or conversation.

You will drive to work looking at it and assessing that conversation.

Sometimes you will go to sleep with it.

And unfortunately many do not rise up to confronting that motion because why?

In truth, it is often too much motion for you to confront.

Otherwise you’d pull the trigger and get out there and handle it.

You will eventually (or not) confront the motion once you’ve chewed on it a bit or replayed it a thousand times.

Or a friend might suggest that you just go get in communication with this person.

The truth is, you are at the intersection of thought.

Got confront?
