Beliefs 

Attitude

What are you doing to improve the quality of your thinking? 

Developing quality of THOUGHT is a life-long process .. far exceeds a formal education.

Your mind requires: Nurture-Nourishment- Edification – Education - Enlightenment – Wisdom

∑  Principles as sure as gravity ∑           

Right-thinking produces right-actions & good outcomes 

Wrong-thinking produces wrong-actions & poor outcomes

Wrong-focus will cause you to waste your time, your talent & your energy 

Wrong-beliefs will distort perception & reality. Distract from what is truly valuable

Wrong-priorities leads to “absurd assumptions” .. will make you the tail & not the head 

“Disappointment is often the aftereffect of absurd assumptions.” – Farooq Omar

In Scripture there is an appeal for steadfastness unity .. an exhortation about THOUGHTS 

"Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things

Consider that your mind is like a computer. What you put in .. that is what will come out. And just as the files in a computer can be corrupted so can the human mind.

Consider how .. 

Your heart collaborates with your mind .. both are like a compass.

As a man thinks in his heart .. so he is.” – Proverbs 23 

The heart is the locus of physical and spiritual being .. and well-being.

The heart is vital .. life-giving & complex

Above all else, guard your heart, it is the well-spring of life 
    everything you do flows from it. – Proverbs 4

Your heart-attitude will help you find peace .. or it will obliterate your peace.

Gratitude & contentment increase peace

Lack of gratitude & Lack of contentment are THIEVES

To be content does NOT take away from having goals or DREAMS                                

Rather wisdom is reflected in being content & thankful for what you have where you are in the present time. If you are not grateful for what you have now .. you will not be content when you arrive where you think you should be in the future. 

Every moment is a stepping stone.                                                 

No matter who you are or where you are on the planet .. this one thing is true for everyone. Whether you’re a President, a Physician,  a Philosopher, a Poet, the Pope, a professor, a prisoner, a philanthropist, a pupil or a pauper .. we all have 24 hours in each day. How we use them is up to us. 

.. Time is the great equalizer .. 

“It’s not that we have little time, but that we waste a good deal of it.” - Seneca

“Our lifetime is a continuum of time, in which our lifespan has three parts: 

.. our past which increases in timespan

.. our future which has an unknown timescale

We know how long our past is, but never know the extent of our future. 

The present is the stepping stones between the past and the future.” - John Rylance

A person of quality thoughts walks with Peace & Wisdom .. from stepping stone to stepping stone. – fem-v

Internal peace is a sweet balm .. a source of inner strength ..  and aids in the ordering of the mind.

.. Peace will guard your mind 

.. Peace will guard your heart

Inner peace: is peace of mind & heart .. peace of soul & spirit. An intentional state of tranquility & calm .. in spite of external stressors. 

Life challenges & life storms

Will not rob Peace internally born.

Do you feel peace in your life ..                                                                                                          

Or are you filled with stress & strife?

Do you desire precious inner Peace? Peace so deep that even in the storms of life .. even in the CHAOS, busyness & noise .. you will be undisturbed. 

This Peace can only come from God .. who is the “Prince of Peace” 

He is the “Wonderful Counselor” who can impart true Peace into your heart & mind where no difficulty or disturbance can reach. 

His Peace is supernatural & exceeds human understanding 

“For to us a child is born,
    to us a son is given,
    and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
    Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
    Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” – Isaiah 9

.. Peace be with you .. 

“The Lord is Near!   Do not be anxious about anything. Instead, in every situation with prayer and petition with thanksgiving, tell your requests to God. And the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4

Jesus spoke these words of assurance as he was preparing to conclude his earthly mission:

“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”               – John 14
