My Thoughts On The Election

With the election coming up I thought I’d write about what I think of the campaign tactics that have been used this year. Especially of Donald Trump.

With the way he has run his campaign it makes me wonder if he is serious about being elected. He won’t be able to talk to a head of state, or someone in the United Nations the way he does. If he acts like a General or another officer who’s a lifer in the military like they don’t know what they’re doing, they’ll probably resign their commission. If he tries to tell congressmen You’re Fired like he did on this TV show they’ll just block his plans.

From the way I see things, if Mr. Trump actually gets elected he has to stop doing what he does. Maybe he’s realized this and decided he really doesn’t want to get elected. I think if he did he would have stopped talking the way he does. My guess is he doesn’t want to get elected, at least not anymore.

As far as Hillary Clinton goes. She once said she agrees with 80% of what Bernie Sanders wanted to do and wants to incorporate that with her plan. I actually wish Sanders hadn’t dropped out of the race. But with all the mudslinging that’s been going on, maybe it’s a good thing he did.

It’s been a regular circus in the media and the online posting has been a zoo. I’ll be the first one to admit, I’ve posted some pictures making fun of both candidates. But with the election a few days away, it’s time to ask who can actually run the country better.

As far as I can tell the answer is Hillary. Maybe I’m wrong but I think if Mr. Trump was really trying to get into office when he started running for President, he’s not acting like he wants the job anymore.
