My Thought On Pot

My Thought On Pot

You have the freedom to empower your mind or hinder your mind. The choice is always yours, ultimately.

For myself, pot made me extremely tired, uninspired to pursue my biggest ambitions in life, and rendered my mind foggy and unclear. All it did was destroy my own mental clarity and capacity.

Personally, I found another Route. I have never been happier since.

My goals are too big and important to have them go up in smoke.

I understand that pot has medical benefits for those who suffer from select, major diseases. And if this helps people, then it helps. I never want to see people suffer in pain or mental anguish.

I don’t believe our government should criminalize it. The war on drugs has utterly failed. Expensively. Today, the Drug Policy Alliance, which advocates for an end to the War on Drugs, estimates that the United States spends $51 billion annually on these initiatives.

Prohibition in the 1920’s failed. In fact, it empowered criminal organizations.

Education, Not Regulation

I believe that to better people, we must be better at educating and helping them; not better at enforcing or regulating them. And on that education front, I’m active.

I’m not a moralist, but a realist. I will not engage in debate or defend my views regarding this. These are my views and you have yours.

Be blessed.

Well said Edwin. Every time we find a way to help addicts that does not imprison them it results in fewer addicts and significant losses to organized crime. What a great double whammy! And so it goes.
