Modern Day Conjuring

Modern Day Conjuring

ca1c850d.jpg

You bought yourself some expensive new shoes and then right afterwards you said to yourself, “Rick will probably get mad.”

Right after the doingness comes your decision or postulate.

See?

You’re now driving home thinking about what Rick will say.

But this is a decision you made in your own mind.

You are an idea generator.

When you arrive home and walk through the front door you’re stressing a bit.

What is uppermost in your mind?

You continue to give that thought all of its fuel and oxygen.

Now, since you don’t want to experience his reaction (which does not yet exist) you avoid talking about it.

So, you not only generated something that does not exist, you avoid not just him—no—you’re actually avoiding the very thing you created in your own mind.

You constructed your own “Rick’s going to get mad” electric fence and so far he’s not a fence or electric.

So, you avoid your own self-created Frankenstein.

And when Rick asks, “How was your trip to the mall, babe?”

You freeze momentarily.

You brace yourself.

Do I say or not?

He looks at you with admiration.

“It...it...went great. I...ummm..bought some new shoes. They were kinda pricey, but...ummm...they were on sale!”

“That’s great! Did you meet up with Liz and have a good time?

You look at him in disbelief.

He didn’t morph into the Hulk or breathe a foot long flame of fire.

“Yes...yes!! you reply excitedly. “We had a great time!”

Every once in awhile check your decision generator.

It’s simply your innate ability to conjure:

“How I Want Things to Be.”

It worked with your shoes, didn't it?

And remember, Rick will be at home generating his own ideas too. He recently read in a book about granting beingness to people and things and decided he needed to do more of that with you.

I mean he didn’t even glow green, right?

Happy Halloween. 🎃👻

"Avoiding our own self-created Frankenstein" is a nice way of putting this. The addition of paranoia simply takes our self created Frankenstein mindset creations to another level.
